When doing the Loving kindness exercise I noticed that tried to meditate but that is so hard to do, so I just focused on things that make me happy in life. Which, family friends and healthy. To me those are the three ingredients in your life that you need to keep it going. I rested in a comfortable, quiet spot and began to focus on my life and the things that make me happy. If any of my family or friends are going through hard times and give them praise. And pray for things to become better for them. I tried to continue this for at least an hour, but it was hard because my mind did start wanderign on what I was going to do this weekend and the rest of the week.
With the Integral Assesment that was discussed in Chapter 11, I decided to focus on obesity problem that we have in our Nation. I have always worried about this problem especially when it effects are children. Society has a big effect on this because of the pressures that people go through on a day to day basis. I pray for children and their parents everyday that are effected by this deadly disease called obesity.
Some of the loving kindness exercises is meditation and thinking positive. Thinking positive has always been a big part of my life because I believe that thinking positive brings positive things into your life. Laws of Attraction.
